I am Carlos. Nice to meet you. The Fusion is overwhelming me at the moment. It sounds amazing though!
Cheers

Hi Carlton and welcome to the Club.
I see you took the plunge. Did T42's SOS review tip it for you?
Have fun with it.

Hey Carlos! Como Estas!
The learning curve of the FUSION is very steep compared to other keyboards, but as you learn more and apply the knowledge to this machine you will get to a point where nothing is impossible. I know as I have climbed the 'hard' steps of progress and suffered some setbacks because of my lack of understanding the system.
It's a quirky machine no doubt, but I have created a lot of cool concise music on it as you can hear a few samples in the USER DEMO section of this forum.
It just takes time to learn all of it's VAST potential. It continually amazes me. I suggest you download the Hollow Sun Freepacks and KPR's UltraSynth library to expand your sonic potential and acclaimate yourself on the data transfer protocol which you will have to learn.
Believe it or not I am thinking about buying another one for Live performance. TWO FUSIONS are better than one.
I think it's also a great looking machine contrary to some others opinions. Captain Kirk would be proud.
Good luck and hope to hear some of your demos on-line soon. You made the right choice.
Welcome to the FUSION world, Cadet Carlos.

Thank you.
I'm going to spend a while trying to make it sound like a C64 now. I also own a K Station and I find it simple to make sounds on that, what with all the buttons. I have to admit I can't work out at all how to make them on the Fusion yet, but I'm certain it's possible.

Todmorden, eh? I thought I recognised a traditional West Yorkshire greeting I lived in Bradford for ten years before coming to Sheffield - to be honest, there's not a day I don't wish I'd stayed put... Welcome to the forum, by the way

Cheers. I've been to Sheffield twice. It seemed OK. The first time I had the biggest butty ever. That was a good day...
I can't think of anything good about Bradford though, apart from the comedy accent, which I love!

I didn't know what a "butty" was, so I had to look it up. Looks delicious! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacon_buttyNow I'm hungry. ;D

I am new at this and hope that my new friends here can guide me to understanding my new fusion. I am a drummer trying to make my own music, I am self taught and just a hobbyist, I also play some guitar and bass and a very little keyboards. I do play for a band (spanish Rock).
