Hello everyone, I never introduced myself when I joined which was a bit remiss.
I bought a Fusion 8HD recently because at 600 pounds it was just too good to miss and it's a great purchase, I really love it. The Fusion will accompany my Korg X5DR which has a nice set of very rich samples and a Novation Supernova 2 (currently busted) which arguably sounds even better than the Fusion for VA. What I like about the Fusion is that, unlike the Korg, most of the sounds on it will work well in a mix and not muddy it. It is also quite a light keyboard which suits my puny hands.
I've also got a Technics WSA1 not in much use. This is a keyboard with a very funny acoustic modelling engine that sounds nasally. However I always used it for its quite nice synth engine, but it was just a bit tame and sounded all much of a muchness. The Fusion on the other hand has a much wider range of sounds just from the VA part, let alone the sample set.
The really fantastic thing about the Fusion is that there is so much to dive into I know it'll be providing new and interesting sounds for years to come.
