Hey all ('n Tag, Dag, Bonjour, etc)
Totally new Fusion owner, and happily diving into a machine I admit I bought almost entirely for the sound engine(s). I'm no programming pro, but I do frequently modify and sculpt patches when the need arises, and this puppy looked too tweakable to pass up. Despite the early bad press, OS revisions, etc, for the price this thing is a steal. I snatched up the sweet Sweetwater deal last week as I'd read Alesis had dropped production, and figured I should get it now.
No stranger to Alesis (A6, old QS8, DM pro), and I have a few other favorites (Casio CZ-1, Yamaha FS1R, Virus C, old Moog Opus) I like to use. Software synths outside of Reason don't get used much, and I sequence/record with Sonar 6, rewired Reason and an Alesis IO 14.
Lastly though I consider keys my best instrument after drums and guitars, I got into all of this as a bored rock singer who wanted to write music in his spare time. As sometimes happen, I find I now spend a lot more time playing and composing than singing (if you don't count singing in the car driving to work).
Probably more than you needed to know...anyway...looking forward to reading and discussing Fusion issues in the group!

PS. Ich kann auch Deutsch (leider nicht fließend aber gut genug) en ook een beetje Nederlands (I do a little German--better--and Dutch--a little worse)
