For those of us (including me!) who tend to leave our Fusions on for days on end and then notice strange behaviour that comes and goes apparently at random...
Before concluding that something's a definite bug, first reboot the Fusion (turn it off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on again) and see if that makes it go away. I've had a few instances of strangeness go away that way! It appears that Fusions do prefer periodic reboots...

Agreed! It's the same with anything - my Mac can certainly do with the occasional 'refresh' with a reboot. Same applies to other bits of gubbins I have here. I guess that just like us, these things get tired and make mistakes Steve

Totally agree. Memory allocation for one can be the biggest areas to cause problems, and the more you swap patches and songs in and out of memory, the more likely to create the conditions for some strange issues. While some will say these should have been weeded out, but as someone who works in the are of software, I can assure you that it is literaly impossible to recreate every possible combination of what an end user may do.

Seriously, I'm really wondering - since it is like a computer, but what about the display?? What is really recommended? And if you were just exaggerating - just call me a dumb-ass kev

Do you really leave it on for days on end!?!? Yes, I do... sometimes a good couple of weeks or so. Partly because I'm lazy and forgetful; partly because the boot time is just long enough to be annoying; partly because if electronics are going to die, they're probably going to do so when you turn them on; partly because as a Linux user, I've got used to the idea of leaving computers on for weeks at a time with no issues...
