Although I haven't really had the time to dive in deep with the Fusion, it seems that a few functions that I'm used to are either not there or hidden. For the most part, I've found this synth to be pretty straight forward. I use the K2500 predominantly as a controller because of all the options that it presents (for a laugh, you can even play Pong on it, or any K2xxx during those long boring guitar solos; press Master, Util(soft key), blank(soft key), then Setup & use the alpha wheel to control the paddle. -Engineers, sheesh!).
Pg. 111 in the manual shows the 2nd parameter as "enable", this is probably what we're all looking for but doesn't seem to be in the keyboard. So roll up your sleeves and let's get to it...
1) Save and/or relocate the HD: Preset 5 bank
2) Create a "silence" patch (a simple "Analog" patch will do, -just disable the oscillator on the Synth page [Configure]) and save it to HD: Preset A01. -Now comes the labor intensive part... Copy and fill the entire bank (name 'em whatever you want ...). These will be our dummy programs for our slave modules. Mind you, A01 is program "01" on some synths, and "00" on others...
3) -Almost finished... Create your mix with whichever internal sounds you like, setting the MIDI channel, range, and transposition.
4) Now we make the slave zones; of course we use a program from the HD: Preset 5 bank that we created & assign it to the appropriate MIDI channel. Set your ranges. Here's the tricky part: You cannot set the transposition on the parameter page; YOU MUST SET THE SLAVE'S TRANSPOSITION FROM WITHIN ITS OWN PATCH/COMBI! Hopefully you're all using Multi/Combi/Setup/Performance/Mix mode on your modules anyway. Oh yeah, make sure you "enable" the keyboard on the "Control" page.
5) Name & save.
Hope this helps! -Let me know... D
