Because I had a hard time once upon a time to find use for the decimator effect. It is my guess that there are many people who can not find useful and pleasurable ways to use this effect? How many people find this effect useless to them and would like to be shown how to set and use this to create some cool and useful tones with it? I have learned to make it useful and helpful to create tones with the decimator. And if people care to post here that they find it useless and/or have not found it to add anything pleasurable to sounds, then I will post some setting of it used on some fusion presets.

Yes, it fattens up drums nicely! While not ruining the cymbols either. It actually can enhance those to when set right. Normally one would not think to use the decimator effect for drums. Good point man!

the decimator is by far my favorite effect. I find I always set the LFO mod to 0 though as I don't usually want the modulation and I always set the decimation frequency differently depending on the patch. I'd like to hear your tips though.

I noticed that it was programmed into ROM: PRESET 4, K-1 "Favorite Lead" as the insert effect, but not activated... D
