Using laptop sequencer Powertracks to drive Fusion in General MIDI mode. Works fine, but when I save the file to the Fusion’s internal sequencer and play it back from the Fusion, it ignores the CC messages (which play perfectly in the Fusion when run from the external sequencer). The messages are still there, showing in the Event View, but do nothing. Offending file attached, with a lot of CC #7 (volume) messages.

Try enabling mixer automation (Song Edit, Song / General).

I have bad problems in the area myself. I tried to use my new HD6 live but to no success. I slave a studio logic 88 controler to it assigned to channel 1 for the piano sounds and I assigned the HD keyboard to CHANEL 3 to drive my Laptop native B4 organ. It works for maby 2 songs. Then the B4 crashes and freezs up. I have to close it and reload it again. then it crashes again with STUCK notes etc. Now my OLD Alseis Qs 7 never has this problem. my band has made me pull out the old Qs-7 over the HD. THEY hate my HD6 . I love it but can't use it live yet after a month. Can anybody tell me why the HD has So much MIDI information going on that floods the CPU on my laptop. I noticed if your changing a Filter setting on the HD6 is will change a different setting on the LAptop organ like key click amont or vibrato on or off. THIS is very annoying in a LIVE band. I had to DRY dock my hd and haul out my old q s 7. My qs was only retired because the actual KEYS are almost worn slap out. Sombody help me and tell me how to CLEAN up my MIDI Controler messages. This things getting to be a BEAR to program. agitated hd owner..

MIDI-OX (generic MIDI filter program) might help. MIDI-OX (generic MIDI filter program) might help. THanks, I tried that . BUt my computer didn't seem to like MIDI-OX. The program exe'd fine and the interface showed up. but when I tried to use it with my Aardvark aark24 is said . (Already in use). strange I didn't even have an audio program running. then I went to SONAR 4 and my midi drivers were crashed. not sure if that was midi-ox or the HD6. Ok next day I bought a CF card 1 gig. and tried to load 1.24. no luck . "UBDATE FAILED". so I put the same program in my computer and hooked up the USB interface to the computer. Amazing enough I dragged the 1.24 image file over to the HD icon and a few of the hollow sun file 's I downloaded from the site and it worked. I shut off the HD and when I rebooted and looked at SYSTEM it said.VER 1.24, not 1.23.. No verify process either. I hope I did this right. now to see if it will work with the midi output better.. thanks for the advice.

The Fusion has lots of quirks and there is a learning curve. Take your time. Relax.
