I guess after all the questions are answered... It's over? Until someone asks another one Sometimes the board does go quiet for a couple of days at a time. Not usually for much longer than that, though.

Yeah, I was a little bummed out about the lack of pattern based sequencing, and it was almost a deal breaker. Then I remembered I have and Mbox2 and proTools (my XP partition went down a few months ago, and I'm stuck with vista, my older proTools doesn't support it.) in my closet. Kind of a bummer that I won't get any standalone work done, but the fusion has so many features for the price..... Now just to start saving, or perhaps santa will hook it up.

I'm using the sequencer in kind of a "pattern" way. it works pretty good. U can work standalone - I'm doing it and all I know is pattern sequencers. Pull out a notepad & use the cut & paste! Trust me, it works - very well. I got my Fusion for $550 off Ebay. It came w/ lots of Hollow Sun banks and an 80gb HD! Santa be damned! Sell that Mbox (if you're not using it) - it'll help pay for your board.

i just midi sync to pro tools eq add effects n junk to solo tracks, chop all tracks at 9 bars then duplicate till i got a hook n verse sequenced duplcate them lay vocals then mix n all that junk. bounce. i had the triton n all that but it cant do what the fusion can. tritons have better soundin presets... but who uses them anymore?

wich mpc are you looking to add? i'm using mine with an mpc 2kxl and the way i'm doing things is a lil goofy. what i do is i midi the 2 up and create my instrumentals then i go back and record the seperate fusion peices and resample em back into the mpc (this way i have not only the midi files for when i'm in the studio but when i perform out as i do often i can take just the mpc and it's all there right in the box) seams to work well for me so far. much easier than my triton ever was. (course i hated the korg sequencer too)
