Today I made a brief manual with some tips for the new fusion owner so they understand the fusion's filesystem. Any remarks, mistakes, whatever ... here is the place. I think this can be a sticky. www.vstream.be/pdf/vstream_manual.pdfJoeri UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE ;D I found a great utility for disconnecting your fusion in a safe way. It's called removedrive and written by a German chap Uwe Sieber: I made a newbie manual so you can disconnect your fusion with the press of one button! www.vstream.be/pdf/removedrive_manual.pdfJoeri

What is the trick with backing up my Fusion to my computer? My computer reads my Fusion via USB when my CF card is installed, however when I remove my card, "Removable Disk: G" is listed in My Computer, and cannot be accessed. I double click and it says to insert disk into Drive: G. Is there a power-up sequence for my Fusion and PC? Sorry for the elementary question, but I thought I was USB proficient. Thank you, Mark

I touched on that elsewhere - basically, the CF card is the primary device in the Fusion, and the hard drive the secondary device, so what you need to do is figure out how to tell your computer to scan all devices on a USB unit. Dunno how to do that on Windows (but it's trivial under Linux).

Hey, that's cool!
I've had my Fusion awhile, but still consider myself a newbie!
Thanks ;D

How do I set my PC sequencer (Fruity Loops 7) to control my Fusion so I can make patten-based songs? Please let me know what software you're using. Thanx

picaja: thanks for the tutorial. It was helpful.
trmash: your sequencer has to be able to send midi clock, and you set the Fusion to 'external sync' - probably in te global area.
