We drove all day and arrived in Southern California from Salt Lake. If all goes as planned we will take a field trip tomorrow to Analogue Haven in Pomona. There we will hopefully be able to molest some nice modular synths. We will report from the road with updates if anything synthsational happens.

WOW! That store is incredible. The new little Moog sounded very.. ah.. fat. The Vostok suitcase synth was awesome! We did score a brand new Korg KP3. If you are ever in southern California, look them up on their website and plan a visit. www.analoguehaven.com/

After a week in the warm California sun we arrived home this evening and found it is warmer than normal. It's called the warm before the storm. It is good to be back and nice to see so many new members who found Fusions under the tree this Christmas.

Welcome back! And yes, that analogue heaven looks like a fine place to shop around ...if you have the budget. How about an analogue FM synth using "zero-oscillators" for 1k$ per OP!

If you are buyin', I'll take one. No problem!
Seriously, they had something there that is so awesome and rare today in the US. They had a (small) staff that actually knew about the equipment and could explain and answer questions.

Ooh... I think you just told me where I want to work... well, I was going to say "when I grow up", but working somewhere like that would probably be the ideal way of continuing to ensure that I don't have to.
