www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP_XG08JHywThis has been seen many many many times on YouTube, but it fits the bill here (for obvious reasons). It looks old but it's not. What I like most about the demo is the "do more with less" sound. One electronic drum truck, one synth. Nothing else. Amazingly, the Fusion can reproduce this sound quite easily.

Entertaining to watch/hear. Pretty impressive playing technique as well. Especially in the beginning. As tight as a sequencer.

I must be cool to have such quantized fingers :-) Mine have a too high humanize setting, and I can't set it lower !
Is it the same machine that Jordan Rudess used during last Dream Theater tour ? I think so, even if on my mind he had it on stage primaly for the visual aspect and could have done the same with his V-Synth and Oasys...

Yes it is the same thing Jordan has. www.synthesizers.com/Nice modulars, and not too stupidly priced either - They have models around 2.5K US, Or you could get a case, and enough modules for a single oscillator synth for under a grand, and then just add stuff as and when you can afford it.

Considering how many oscillators the Fusion can put out in one go, and considering the price of even an analogue TB303 clone without patchability - or the Red Square from Analogue Solutions... that's an interesting definition of "not stupidly priced".

Sorry, I meant, for a completely analogue patchable modular synth.
I agree that there are much cheaper solutions... That Red Square looks interesting.
I just totted up the module price for the Analog solutions modules from their Concussor Modular range and it is a little more expensive than the synthesizer.com options (Given the dollar exchange - of course we'd probably get hit by VAT trying to import one!!!)
