I'm having a problem inserting pictures into my threads. Does anyone know the "fool proof" method? Http NOT needed

you have to have the picture somewhere on the internetwebthing. Then you have to know it's url: i.e. thingontheinternetweb.jpgthen you use the IMG tags before and after the url of the image. e.g: [img]http://thingontheinternetweb.jpg[/img]And Bob's a male relitave, by dint of his sibling relationship to one of your parents!!!!

img (in square brackets) insert location of picture here followed by [/img] For example: (use QUOTE to see the code for reverse engineering) Steve

Try photobucket. They had instructions so simple that even I could do it!

How do you insert video clips from You Tube etc please? I tried the url/ method today and when I previewed the message before posting the url/ disappeared ... I'm guessing it only works for photos rather than vids ... I settled today for just posting the url only to give a link ... but I'd like to learn how to do this properly. Cheers ... Rainbow:)

Use the TUBE button, Graham. Copy the youtube URL, not the embedded tag, and paste it like this:
When using the quote function of my posting you can view how it looks.
