I also sampled some JD990 sounds (synthmodule of the big JD800, my favorite synth ever). Don't expect long sweeps or big pad sounds, I will do them later. This is a 16 set Program Bank with analogish sounds, a real string sound, some basses and bottle blowers.
The JD creates huge sounds but with a very digital finish because of it's specific digital filters as you can here on the Program "Digital Oh Yeah". Beware for the "JD008Square" Program, it's a very big sounding square sound so don't blow your speakers.
"JD Portamento" is another typical JD sound and the "Are Friends Electric" program demonstrates the big fat sawsounds the JD can produce. Play this Numansong and you will understand why.
Good idea :-) I owned a JD-800 that I sold to buy a JD-990 four years ago, but without the knobs and sliders I never got into this module and I sold it last year to get some money for my Fusion. I don't regret at all, but I should have sampled some waveforms before selling my JDs.
I willl try this bank soon, thanks for your efforts.
Sorry for my English, school is so far away :-)
