Fusion record into Sonar4 MIDI?

Hi all,
I have Fusion6, PC Windows XP, soundcard RME fireface400 and my recording software is Sonar4.
I just want to record the fusion sounds into the Sonar4 in midi trick (For example) I record Fusion sounds into the Sonar and then the fusion plays back just its sound.
Right now this is how I have made my connections;

Hardware setup.

Fusion main audio output L & R goes into my sound card input L & R (is this correct?)
Fusion midi IN goes into PC sound card output (is this correct?)
Fusion midi OUT goes into PC sound card input (is this correct?)

(Fusion Global MIDI mode setup)

When I connect the fusion with the computer and turn it on after loading the Fusion shows I don’t know what is?

ERROR: :
Insert FX 1K NOP Verification Failed
Error Code: (0X02060005)
Please tell me what I can do?

Salman, that error looks suspiciously like the Fusion telling you that one of its DSPs (the one that does insert effects) isn't working... which probably means you need to go and swap it for another one.

As regards getting Fusion and Sonar to work together, you do have your Fusion in Mix or Song mode, don't you? In Program mode it's monotimbral only, and will only respond on the basic MIDI channel.
