So I took some new pics of MarkOne Music for my wife to show some people, so I thought I'd share them with you guys: The keys... The keys from a different angle... And the DAW/Mixer/Control Surface/Lava Lamp, etc... All in the twilight blue lighting I've just installed. You can also see the big rockwool panels on the walls covered in their shiny fabric covering. It's amazing how different things sound now the room has some acoustic treatment in it!

Nice home-studio. I love your lava lamp ! Aren't the monitors too high during your mixing sessions ?

That blueish look is great - I´m really close to get some blue lights tomorrow... What I like even more (maybe also because of the lighting) is the lost-in-work aspect... To me it looks like you are cut off the world somehow there, which IMHO is a good thing sometimes (my equipment is located in the living room, and although music is my hobby, a dedicated place would surely make me more productive). Anyways.. nice photos

Nice setup, just what I want. Has any body ever diagramed out an entire setup? Cables and all? Just what a newbe needs. Guidance and direction.

It's a damn good thing to do especially if it's a complicated set-up. Take alot of time doing it.. It may save you alot of trouble and expense in the long run. markone... What's that synth in the middle? Is it an E-Mu?

markone... What's that synth in the middle? Is it an E-Mu? Yeah, it's an EMU PK6... It's fully tricked out with the Vintage Keys ROM, the Ensoniq ZR (Halo) ROM and the Peter Siedlaczek Advanced Orchestra ROM. There are some great sounds on it. Because every studio in the world has at least one EMU expansion rack (and usually a lot more) you do get that Deja Vu "where have I heard this" as you audition sounds. Still a useful set of tools, but nowhere near as ballsy as the fusion. (and some of those orchestral sounds as good as they are, note-steal so badly it can be hard to use them)
