I'm new to this forum - HI! - and thought I would share a few songs I made using the Fusion. Two are on my myspace page called "Unseen" and "Tears of a Rose." www.myspace.com/noescapemusicAnd the other is called Encompassing Sorrow www.promusicproducts.com/fusiondemos/Encompassing_Sorrow.mp3For "Unseen" some of the patches I used were Shapely, Aggamennom, Hip Hop Kit 5, lofi bass (love that one), shimmer bells, JP Strings, and the Fusion String and Fusion Choir Ensembles. For "Tears of a Rose" some of the patches I used were the Holy Grail Dark Classical Piano, Huge Strings from the FP #8, Smooth Pad FP #8, Starship FP #4, Silent Pad, JP Strings, and Atmos Vox FP #8. For Encompassing Sorrow I only used the Piano and Strings HS patch. I posted these on the other Fusion forum, Fusionzone, and have had some great responses! I only have the Fusion, a Roland 18 track recorder, and a mic. That's it. I would love to get some feedback!!! ;D

I think it sounds great! You have a beautiful voice and I'm not just saying that , I very rarely say it to anyone. The songs set a distinct mood. I'd like to hear more of your material.

Thank you! For some reason I thought I would get an email notification if someone posted something on the thread. So sorry! That's why it took me a while to get back. I've changed my myspace player, but I have some more samples up on my new website. www.noescapemusic.com . The song that plays on the homepage was all done on the fusion. On the music page, the songs/samples that were done on the fusion are "Tears of a Rose," "Unseen," both the vocal and instrumental version, "Into Absolution," and "Last Goodbye." And my album will be out soon! I'll let you all know when it is available!

Unfortunately, I can't use Flash (lack of browser compatibility), so all I've been able to hear so far is Encompassing Sorrow. I did like it though

That stinks. Is MySpace flash? I know my website is. Encompassing Sorrow is unlike most of my other music. I'm gravitating more towards the electronica beats and sounds lately. My other music is more towards that sound.

Not all of it - only the bit that lets you hear people's music Is there anywhere I can download the MP3s, perhaps in a low-bitrate version? Alternatively, is there any chance you could email me some? (Amazingly, the email address on here works, and I don't seem to get any spam from it...)

Sure, I'll email you the samples I have of those songs. And maybe some others that are collaborations. I don't want to email the whole thing because they're for my album! I'll do that later today. Sound good?

That sounds great - thanks! (Another good reason for only sending samples is that it's less likely to upset my mail account's maximum attachment size )

Okay, I've sent you four emails - two with samples, and two others with two full songs. I hope you like them!

Can you also email me when you've released your album? And if you ever decide, or get the opportunity, to come and play in the UK? In fact, if there's a No Escape mailing list... (Yes, I did like them )

I will do that. I need to have all the music done by the end of May. That's when the kids are out of school! And it's actually a very realistic goal. And then the duplication and everything. So about two more months?
I've never been to the UK. I want to though!
And a mailing list, huh? Something to think about...
