No problem Jesse - it spurred me into action. I'd been sitting on my arse doing NOTHING about it, 'til now . .
They'll be here Friday probably - then I can relax . . . .
('til the next "thing")

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" Chris, I just called Inmusic in the USA and again they said they have no PSU's and the part was discontinued. I told them a friend in the UK just ordered two from Inmusic in Europe, they checked with the parts manager who supposedly checked with Inmusic Europe and said that they do not have any PSU's either, please call Inmusic Europe and confirm whether or not they do or do not have the PSU's in stock and if they do, how many do they have. There is something screwy going on here Jesse

Indeed - I want to call them again, just to thank them for such PROMPT Service.
I called them and ordered the parts on THURSDAY at 16:20 - the guy said it was probably too late for shipping that day - but
They Arrived by courier FRIDAY at about 12:30! - I was gobsmacked . . .
I'll try and get the guy's name - I think it began with a K
If YOU want to try calling them, its inMusic Brands Europe. Unit 3, Nexus Park Lysons Avenue Ash Vale Hampshire GU12 5QE United Kingdom Tel: +44 (0) 1252 896040 ...
(You would ignore the (0) and use the +44) mention my name and order (2 x PSUs) by all means (Chris Miller)
I'll try later on today, and relate what you have said . . .
I'll post some pics when I get a moment . .

Hi, I think it's more interesting to use PSU from PC (the price is between 30-40€) Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" I believe it worked for you, but isn't one or more of the voltage outputs needed by the Fusion missing from the PC power supply?

Alesis Fusion affectionately known as "The Beast" I just called Akai Parts at 401-658-3131 ext 1407 to see if they had any PSU's for the Fusion and the MPC5000 part # SPSHA33R4-058N, again I was told there are none in the USA Inmusic and Akai Parts are the same outfit, different name different phone number, same organization. This is COMPLETELY unintelligible surely?
The US operation IS the PARENT company (I understand). i.e. HEAD OFFICE . . . .
The UK arm Clearly HAS PARTS, and maintains that they can be shipped Stateside IF REQUESTED . . . .
(WHY it should be this way round, I have no idea - I would have expected ALL the parts to be in the US . . . . )
WHY does the PARENT COMPANY NOT know this? They are supposed to be IN CHARGE . . . .
Just telling you there are no parts in the USA - and leaving you hanging - IS PATHETIC
I can never understand Companies that put up barriers to selling.
InMusic UK just made 160 quid out of me - and I'm delighted about it . . . The immediate future of my Fusions is secure . . . .
SHEESH!

It is not only the LCD. What happens if you use -12V at the analog board? Would this be a problem?
